Gideon and his 300 Israelite soldiers defeated the massive Midianite army of 120,000 men* with a combination of impeccable teamwork, wise strategy and divine provision, in spite of being severely outnumbered. Although the Israelites decimated their rival army with just a few hundred, they also could not have done it with only one man. Teamwork would be essential. As a result of coordinated team effort, they accomplished more with a few hundred than their competition would with tens of thousands.
