Go do that thing!

Am I really reading this book? 🤨You tell me. It would be kind of weird since I wrote it.

But yes, I do occasionally pick it up to give it a view, and when I do, I feel overwhelming joy and disbelief.

It was just an idea that seemed too big for me to accomplish. But the more I waited, the more I felt like I wasn’t being obedient to the task. Then one day, while sitting in church service, my pastor asked the listeners, “What is that task, project or thing that God is calling you to do?” That spoke directly to me.

Up until that point, I was willing to write a book, but one about the Bible wouldn’t have been my first choice. My way would’ve been some sort of personal growth, business or finance topic.

How could I write a book about leadership and business principles found in the Bible?

I felt the answer was “one step at a time.” One morning at a time. One section at a time. One story at a time. Prayer.

Even though I didn’t feel like it – and frankly, thought it was a wild idea – I was equipped with what I needed to write the book.

I couldn’t have written this ten years ago or even five. At 35, I gained sufficient life and professional experience to equip me to provide practical and relevant content to fill a book about biblical leadership and business success principles.

I am in awe.

It was all worth it.

Thank you for your support.

Go do that thing. Don’t delay.
