The Powerful Impact of Prioritizing Your Goals

“You can do anything, but you cannot do everything.”

Prioritizing is both a science and an art.

Every now and then there is an idea that demands your attention. It is the conviction that a project needs to be done, and you are the one to complete it.

You become convinced it is worth your energy and time.

One day in 2023, while sitting in church, I had one of those moments.

I needed to write a book about the many business principles found in the Bible and to make them relevant, interesting and practical.

I kind of dilly dallied for a few months and then opened my laptop and made the first set of notes. The rest is literally a blur.

I finished my book, Business in the Bible, a few months ago with great pride and sense of accomplishment.

This is the picture I sent my wife after having completed the first draft, originally 25,000 words, months after beginning my daily writing journey.

UPDATE: Business in the Bible is now available here on Amazon in digital or paperback.

I share this not only as a plug for more updates on my book, but as a reminder that humans can accomplish incredible things with small steps each day.

Listen for that idea. Don’t wait. Get started.
