People that know me closely know that I write articles on real estate investing topics each day. I started writing in July 2020 and now, as part of growing Robinson Capital and acquiring more real estate writing is a regular activity. Especially having gone from weekly article releases to twice weekly, the question that I get most often is why do I do it.

Educate Those Around Me

I did not grow up with knowledge of real estate investing or how it can create massive wealth for ordinary people. I grew up believing that you needed to be an entertainer or high-profile professional in order to become massively wealthy. I did not know about the power of passive income and cash flow. I grew up thinking you saved your way to becoming a millionaire. Finally, I did not grow up thinking that any one could acquire real estate assets. I grew up thinking that you had to be rich to do those things. Boy, did I have a lot to learn. And now that I know these things, it is wrong for me not to share. A blog is the best avenue for me to share these insights with people I have never met and perhaps even motivate friends and family to do the same.

Real Estate Investing is dynamic and being successful at growing wealth through real estate involves attention to multiple variables. This includes markets, property/asset management, working well with teams, tax strategies, using retirement funds to invest, investment fundamentals, awareness of various investment strategies. Each of these topics present thousands of different articles we can write for educating our audience.

Share our Journey

Many times when we read a book or see a movie on a successful figure, we are learning the information from the perspective of after that person or event was achieved. I consider my life to be an ongoing journey, one of manny unfulfilled dreams and goals. And it is pretty cool to share those goals before they happen, so that followers of the blog and newsletter can participate in this personal journey and just like I stated before, be motivated to do the same or follow their own goals and personal mission.

As you may know from my post on why I get up at 4 a.m. each weekday, my wife and I have four young children and boy is parenting both rewarding and exhausting! I write these blog posts in hopes that someday our children could read some of this content and get a glimpse into our journey and mindset or even reflect on some of the experiences we share. That is why after the first few months of building the blog, we started to include more personal content such as when I graduated with my MBA after nearly 4 years.

Meet Potential Passive Investors

Through the Learn to Invest blog, I share abundant content and education on real estate investing. The audience includes experienced passive investors or those who have never heard of or passive investing. I share updates on and new information and provide opportunities, each week through the blogs or through our monthly newsletter, to connect with me directly and learn more about passive investing to determine whether it is right for them. I extend that same opportunity to you!
